Daddy’s Little Mortis is the creative laboratory behind Veiled Dominion—a strategy world where mortality, restraint, inheritance, and power become systems you can explore. The project asks a single question: when power is placed in your hands, what kind of steward will you become?

THE ULTIMATE FORM

Phase 1 uses digital releases and test prints to validate the iconography. Phase 2 is a fully illustrated physical deck that can stand alone as an oracle object or accompany the Veiled Dominion board game. The chess engine is being built openly on GitHub. The physical board and deck will be manufactured only after the prototype is proven.

Inside Veiled Dominion

Every system of power requires a language. In the world of Veiled Dominion, the board is governed by four elemental pillars, drawn from ancient cartomancy:

  • CLUBS (Wands): Will. No jewelry.

  • SPADES (Swords): Logic. The crown.

  • DIAMONDS (Rings): The material world.

  • HEARTS (Vessels): The spiritual. The chalice.

These aren't just suits on a card. They are the classifications of the pieces on the obsidian board. The Daughter’s journey to master restraint requires her to understand the weight of each. The Sealed Deck captures these four pillars as standalone, tattoo-flash style marks.
